fashion [?]

this morning as i was waiting for the bus, i saw a grown man with this on his head:
i would have taken a picture of him, but i thought i would protect him from any more people seeing him in it...  well at least i know what i'm getting my brother for his birthday now... i looked up "toque made out of socks" and found out that it's made by a canadian company called pook.  so that's kind of... neat?

as i continued on my commute i saw a grown man wearing bright yellow slippers.  i increased my pace in order to see what on earth he was wearing...

well that's [also] neat. (photo not taken to protect the wearer's identity)  i understand the purpose, infact i think they're really smart... but why yellow?  i thought he was a duck dressed as a man.  it looks like the are made by a company called swims.  maybe i was just really grumpy about going into work this moring... when the rest of toronto decided to call it a snowday.  anyway mr. fancy boots got this song stuck in my head:

so much talk about "snowmaggedon" today.  it doesn't seem that bad.  we are canadian after all...

i'm covering reception today and as i greeted one of our clients i asked him if he wanted a cup of coffee or anything, and he replied a little peace of mind would be nice. to which i replied sorry, i'm fresh out.

**i sincerely apologize if i have offended anyone with my strong opinions on these items...**

Please get me the pook hat with the MTL Canadiens socks - also don't tell Alison as I have reached the wardrobe quota for hockey apparel.

Sparrow has a Canucks Pook. It was a bday present from a lovely auntie. One day I'll get around to posting photos and you'll see. <3
