who was eleanor roosevelt? i know that she was first lady from 1933 - 1945 during franklin roosevelt's time as president. i know that she was an advocate for civil rights and involved with the united nations. truth be told, i don't know a lot about her. but i thought her quote was powerful and now i'm sharing it with you. you can put your own meaning to it, but what she is saying here [in my mind] is fundamental. and by understanding it you can change the way you feel about yourself [and others] on a daily basis.
